Dostal files criminal complaint over alleged Marian K. recording

Freedom and Solidarity MP Ondrej Dostal on Tuesday filed a criminal complaint at the prosecutor-general's office in connection with a recording of a conversation between Marian K., who faces charges of counterfeiting promissory notes, and former prosecutor-general Dobroslav Trnka. "I suspect that the crime of misusing the powers of a public official might have been committed, or certain corruption-related crimes, in particular the crime of receiving a bribe, giving a bribe or the crime of indirect corruption," said Dostal, adding that as no criminal investigation has been launched so far, he turned to the PG's office with a criminal complaint so that it will examine suspicions of the aforementioned crimes.
