A debate on how to approach China - a new and growing great power - is lacking in Slovakia, and if an important issue in relation to China emerges, it could mean a problem for the country in the future, TASR learnt from a document on China's influence in central Europe, which was prepared within the ChinfluenceCE project. The document was created by experts from the Slovak Institute of Asian Studies (IAS), the Czech Association for International Affairs (AMO) and the Central and Eastern European Centre for Asian Studies (CEECAS) in Budapest, who examined the image of China in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
