Diplomats in Bratislava commemorate murders of Kuciak and Kusnirova

The diplomatic community has also marked the first anniversary of the murders of Jan Kuciak and his fiancée Martina Kusnirova in Bratislava on Thursday, a post released by the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on a social network said. "To defend the freedom of the press is one of the priorities of the British foreign policy. By pointing out crimes, the media become key democracy protectors. I support the call of the Slovaks for a fair punishment of all those responsible for this act," said British Ambassador to Slovakia Andrew Garth.
