Deputy Justice Minister Michal Wojcik has countered comments by former Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo, who tweeted criticism on Sunday of Polish President Andrzej Duda's LGBT comments, saying Rupo should first look at how Christians are treated in Belgium. Wojcik commented on Polish public television on Monday on Elio Di Rupo's Sunday tweet that "the Polish president's unacceptable commentary on the subject of the LGBT community is incredibly aggressive," and called on the European Commission to react to Duda's words, describing the Polish head of state as "openly homophobic."
