The building of European military forces should be a priority in the EU, said Slovak Parliamentary Chairman Andrej Danko (SNS) in reaction to French President Emmanuel Macron's statement for The Economist on Thursday that NATO is experiencing a "brain death". Commenting that Macron obviously realises the risks related to the situation involving Turkey as a NATO member, and the Kurds and Syria, Danko said that "this isn't about whether you're with me or against me, but it's something that Europe needs from the viewpoint of security".
