The daily rise in the new COVID-19 cases has exceeded 3,000 for the first time in the Czech Republic, reaching 3,130 on Thursday, according to data released by the health ministry. The same number of new cases was recorded during the entire month of March, the report said. Total case numbers are now at 44,155. Fully 20,289 recovered and 489 have died, the ministry said.
