The Czech Republic shows the highest percentage share of positive results in the coronavirus tests out of all European Union (EU) members, as their share exceeded 10 percent in the country in the second half of September and keeps rising. According to the Health Ministry's data released on its website, the running average in the past seven days was over 15 percent, but on some days, mainly weekends when the number of tests declined, it was much higher. On Sunday, October 4, almost one-quarter of coronavirus tests gave positive results.
