The Czech government on Monday voted that the country's military will join the NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defence Centre of Excellence, planned to be built in the Greek city of Chania, Defence Ministry spokesman Marek Vala has told CTK. Centres of Excellence are established by NATO member states, each of them focuses on different issues and seeks answers to expert questions. Multiple member states take part in the centres' operations. The Czech Republic, for example, is now building the Joint Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defence Centre of Excellence in Vyskov, south Moravia.
