The Czech Republic registered another 8,925 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, similar to Tuesday, but almost 7,000 fewer than a week ago when the number hit a record high in the country, data released by the Health Ministry show. The number of active infections stands at 147,994, most of whom have a mild case of the disease. By contrast, the number of Covid-19-related deaths rose by another 53 to 5,570 since last evening.
