Foreign doctors will see a change in the approbation exam required for their work in the Czech Republic, according to a bill the Senate approved today, based on which the applicants will have only four tries to pass the exam, but can spread its passing over a two-day period. To take effect, the amendment needs to be signed by President Milos Zeman. Health Minister Adam Vojtech (ANO) told the senators that the limitation of the applicants' number of tries will prevent foreign doctors, for example Ukrainian, from "endlessly" applying for an approbation certificate that is needed for doctors to perform their profession in the Czech Republic.
