Czech President wants to merge Prague and Warsaw stock exchanges

Czech President Milos Zeman came out in favour of the merger of the Prague and Warsaw stock exchanges into one institution seated Warsaw, adding that a "Central European stock exchange" would be a stronger counter-player of the other exchanges, at a Polish-Czech economic forum today. Zeman said the Prague bourse has been declining over a lack of managerial capabilities. "The Warsaw stock exchange is prospering, and the President Komorowski informed me that its performance has already exceed that of the Vienna bourse," he said.
