Czech President Milosz Zeman on Friday declared that the Warsaw and Prague stock exchanges should merge and be headquartered in Warsaw. The move, although unpopular with the Prague Stock Exchange (PSE) executives, could boost the PSE growth, he said. Zeman said the merger of the two stock exchanges would make them more competitive as he stressed the efficiency of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), which already lists seven Czech companies.
