Czech politicians observe Holocaust Remembrance Day

January 27th, 2012

Warnings of passivity when facing new forms of anti-Semitism and the need to stand up against all forms of arbitrariness were the main appeals launched by Czech politicians at a meeting on the occasion of the Holocaust Remembrance Day observed in the Czech Senate on Friday. "Millions of victims of the perverted Nazi regime can at any time have a large number of successors because hatred, fanaticism and anti-Semitism have not disappeared from the human kind that has not drawn a lesson from the history," Senate deputy chairman Premysl Sobotka said.
