The Czech Medevac medical humanitarian aid programme will focus on providing help in the Middle East, Africa and Ukraine this year, like in previous years, and it will newly provide aid to Georgia, the cabinet decided on Monday, its press department has told CTK. The state has earmarked 54 million crowns (EUR 2.2m) for this purpose. In the Middle East, Medevac will focus on Iraq, Lebanon and Jordan, all countries that host several millions of refugees from the neighbouring war-stricken Syria.
