Czech lower house halts debate of ban on supplies to Iran's nuke plant

June 20th, 2018

The Czech Chamber of Deputies' economic committee interrupted its debate on the Communists' (KSCM) proposal on dropping the ban on supplies to Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant and will wait for the standpoint of the foreign affairs and security committee. Both committees are to assess the proposal on Thursday. KSCM MP Leo Luzar reiterated that the plant in Bushehr was already functioning and that another of its blocs was soon to be completed, while two more blocs were planned to be added. He insisted that the decision to be taken was of a business nature.
