Czech lower house members set up electoral commission

November 14th, 2017

An electoral commission of the lower house of the Czech parliament was set up on Tuesday, ANO MP Radek Vondracek, deputy chairman of the old lower house and a candidate for chairman of the new lower house, told CTK. The main task of electoral commission will be to organise the elections to all lower house posts and bodies operating in it. The constituent session of the house will be held next Monday. It will have 19 members since this is the lowest odd number that allows all nine parties in the house to be represented in the commission. Being the clear election winner, the ANO movement will have eight members in the commission while other parties will each have either one or two members.
