Representatives of Czech hospitals, healthcare unions, patients and doctors call on Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) to deal with the insufficient financing of hospitals, they said in a press release sent to CTK. "The state or more precisely the health insurance companies owe hundreds of millions of crowns to hospitals for the treatment provided. The hospitals thus have got in a critical situation when they are unable to maintain the quality of the current care and will be forced to limit their care," the head of the Association of Czech and Moravian Hospitals, said. Babis and the Health Ministry said they considered this declaration scaremongering.
