Czech gun licence holders protesting against EU restriction

Czech holders of firearms licences should be exempted from the effect of the European arms regulation directive, Pavel Cerny, the chairman of the Liga Libe, told journalists. The Czech Republic is unlikely to be able to pass the measures arising from the European directive by mid-September, Cerny said. A change in the Czech law will have to be made so that the Czech Republic avoids the sanctions by the European Commission, he added.
