Czech govt should let crisis staff deal with outbreak-Senate head

March 18th, 2020

The Czech government and Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) should stop their improvisation and self-presentation in the current crisis over the coronavirus outbreak and the Central Crisis Staff deal with the situation, Senate head Milos Vystrcil (Civic Democrats, ODS) said on Wednesday. Vystrcil said the government should have activated the Central Crisis Staff already in early March when the first cases of coronavirus infection appeared in the country.
