The Czech cabinet approved today an amendment to the law on international judiciary cooperation, which is to regulate the acquisition of evidence for prosecution between European Union member states, the Government Office's press department has told CTK. The bill is to implement the European Investigation Order, which is to be used for legal assistance in obtaining evidence in another member state. The bill is yet to be debated by the Chamber of Deputies, the lower house of Czech parliament.
