Czech foundation seeks funds to renew Masaryk Forest in Israel

The Masaryk Forest, planted in 1930 in northern Israel by Czechoslovak citizens, is in need of a complete revitalisation, say members of the Czech branch of the Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF), collecting finances for the project and looking for expert help. After almost 90 years, the forest needs new plantings, construction work and extensive clearing.
