Czech diplomacy achieves release of two Europeans by Syria

The Czech Republic has achieved the release of two imprisoned European humanitarian staffers in negotiations in Syria and will bring them from Damascus to Prague today, server Aktualne.cz reported today. It said the Europeans, arrested for illegal crossing of the Syrian border, spent several months in prison and have been released now thanks to the Czech ambassador to Damascus, Eva Filipi.
