Czech court sentences Russian fugitive to nine years for fatal accident

A Czech court sentenced Oleg Gubin, a Russian driver who fled the Czech Republic for Russia, to nine years in prison in absentia for a fatal road accident, imposed the longest possible ten-year driving ban on him and expelled him indefinitely on Monday. The verdict has not taken effect yet.
