Czech committee insists on ban on deliveries to Iranian nuclear plant

The Czech Chamber of Deputies should reject the Communist (KSCM) proposal to lift the ban on deliveries to Iran's Bushehr nuclear power plant, its security committee said in a resolution approved on Thursday. Along with the right-wing opposition parties Civic Democratic Party (ODS) and TOP 09, one half of members of the committee for Prime Minister Andrej Babis' ANO voted for the resolution, submitted by Josef Belica (ANO). The law banning the supplies, which dates back from 2000, responded to the intention of south-Bohemian company ZVVZ Milevsko to supply air conditioning units for the plant.
