Czech army may lead foreign mission in few years - minister

The Czech military should play a more important role in the foreign missions, Defence Minister Lubomir Metnar told today's issue of daily Mlada fronta Dnes, adding that Czechs should lead a mission in future. Metnar said he would like the Czech military to be capable of commanding a whole allied base in some five to seven years. He admitted that the military does not have these capabilities at present.
