Cttee of EU affairs hears Jourova

European Commission member and candidate for the Czech commissioner position Vera Jourova expressed interest in working in the field of internal markets and trade, as well as on the EU's digital agenda, at a Tuesday hearing of the Committee on European Affairs. Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) had said earlier that the government plans to formally nominate Jourova on August 26. The committee did not support the motion for the government to nominate Jourova and only acknowledged her probable nomination.
