CSSD referendum ends, regions may support coalition with ANO

The majority of the Czech Social Democratic Party's (CSSD) regional branches is through the party's internal referendum on the coalition cabinet of ANO with CSSD and the support prevails, a number of their representatives have said. The party is set to announce the results of its referendum on Friday. The Communists (KSCM), who are expected to support the minority cabinet of ANO and CSSD, are also awaiting the referendum's outcome. Based on information by CSSD spokesman Petr Vurbs provided to CTK on Monday, 930 local organisations of the party, which is 85 percent, have finished voting. The majority of CSSD members supported the coalition cabinet, unofficial sources have said.
