A Czech court today asked Russian anarchist Igor Shevtsov, who demands 1.3 million crowns from the state in compensation for his previous unrightful prosecution, to specify what partial sums the compensation should consist of, his lawyer Pavel Kozousek has said. In his lawsuit, Shevtsov, a student of Charles University Faculty of Arts, demands the compensation for a non-material harm caused to him and for court expenses. A couple of years ago, Shevtsov was accused of an arson attack on the house of then defence minister Martin Stropnicky, and was also prosecuted for having assisted in spraying a wall of the Prague-Ruzyne prison facility. Finally, he was acquitted of all charges, but only after the Supreme Court supported him.
