A cryptovirus has completely paralysed the operation of the hospital in Benesov, about 40 kilometres southeast of Prague, attacking its computer system in the night, hospital spokesman Petr Ballek told CTK today. No equipment, including the computer network, can be switched on and all planned operations were cancelled. IT experts are intensively working to remove the outage, Ballek added. The hospital has called on patients heading for Benesov to choose another healthcare facility, he added.
