A bust of Chinese dissident and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Liu Xiaobo, who died two years ago after a long imprisonment, will be unveiled in the DOX Contemporary Art Centre in Prague on April 15, DOX has told CTK. The Chinese regime convicted Liu of subversion and sent him to prison for 11 years in 2008 over the Charter 08 initiative for the improvement of human rights standards in China. It was inspired by the Charter 77 Czechoslovak dissident manifesto. More than 350 Chinese intellectuals signed the Charter 08.
