Slovak President Zuzana Caputova attended a ceremony marking the 75 anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Poland. "Fascism is still alive [in Slovakia], in our society, that's why I think it's very necessary that we, by means of joint effort, do our utmost to prevent it from getting back to power," the president said to the media. Presidents, premiers and members of royal families from almost 60 countries participated in the ceremony. The camp was liberated on January 27, 1945 by the Red Army.
