The investigation into the murders of journalist Jan Kuciak and his fiancee Martina Kusnirova has uncovered important information concerning the background and functioning of justice and politics in Slovakia, President Zuzana Caputova said in reaction to the course of the trial currently being held at the Specialised Criminal Court in Pezinok. "We haven't been learning such information and about events from the current trial alone; we've been learning them over a longer period. These are serious facts," Caputova said. "It's important to remain sober when evaluating them and to wait and see which claims are actually proven to be true."
