Cabinet: Economic diplomacy in 2017 success

Priorities set in the field of economic diplomacy were met successfully last year, TASR learnt from a report on the results of economic diplomacy for 2017 that was approved by the Cabinet at its session on Wednesday. Economic diplomacy last year involved mainly support for small companies, which make up 99.9 percent of the total number of companies but provide only 30 percent of Slovak exports. "Business missions accompanying constitutional officials on their working trips abroad were an important tool of economic diplomacy in 2017," reads the report.
