Cabinet approves purchase of 25 self-propelled Howitzers

The artillery of the Slovak Armed Forces will be expanded with the acquisition of 25 Zuzana 2 self-propelled howitzers, with the Cabinet approving the purchase on Wednesday. According to a Defence Ministry-sponsored proposal, the howitzers should be produced by the Slovak armaments industry, while the cost of their implementation and delivery, which is planned for between 2018-22, shouldn't exceed a financial limit of 175 million euros.
