The National Security Strategy, which was greenlit by the government a year ago but is still waiting for approval by parliament, will not be reworded, junior coalition Most-Hid party leader Bela Bugar has told TASR in an interview. "If by any chance that [change] was about to happen and Smer-SD gave a helping hand, we'd block it in the government," he said. The junior Slovak National Party (SNS) has a problem with the country's security strategy because it defines Russia as a security threat to Slovakia. MPs were supposed to discuss Slovakia's defence and security strategy draft some weeks ago. The draft was submitted by opposition MPs, but no talks took place because the House withdrew the document from the session agenda, claiming that only the governing cabinet can submit the aforementioned document.
