Bone marrow donors register up by 7,500 people in 2018 - stats

Some 7,500 people entered the largest Czech National Register of Bone Marrow Donors (CNRDD) in 2018, making the number of its registered donors grow to 85,525, its marketing director Klara Conkova said in a press release today, adding that it would like to cross the 90,000 border in 2019. The second largest register of Prague's Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM) lists some 30,000 bone marrow donors and both databases overlap slightly.
