The official results of the 2019 European Parliament election in Slovakia, in which a coalition of the Progressive Slovakia (PS) and Together parties emerged as the winner with four seats in the EP, were a pleasant surprise for successful MEP candidate Vladimir Bilcik of Together. Bilcik praised the 22.74 percent voter turnout, which, he said, was higher than in the last EP election (13 percent) partly thanks to the campaign run by the aforementioned alliance. The new MEP promised to start preparing for his new post as early as on Monday.
