The situation in Slovakia's parliament was not triggered by the opposition but by the ruling coalition and parliament should address the Constitutional Court with a request for an interpretation of the situation in order to clarify whether it can discuss the submitted laws, independent MP Miroslav Beblavy said on Wednesday. "What's happening here today wasn't triggered by the opposition and not at all by the PS/Together coalition," stressed Beblavy, adding that they had different plans, namely to continue their campaign in the regions. He pointed out that the rules also apply to the parliamentary majority. According to him, the blocking is a normal obstruction of the opposition. He declared that they would not use violent methods to block the meeting.
