Baltic Pipe economic tests show positive results

Economic tests conducted by the investors of the Baltic Pipe gas pipeline project have shown positive results, Polish gas transmission operator Gaz-System said on Thursday. The positive result was one of the prerequisites for signing gas transmission contracts. In line with European regulations, after gathering and evaluating offers within the framework of the Open Season 2017 procedure, and approval of the final capacity allocations for Baltic Pipe, the investors, Gaz-System and Denmark's Energinet.dk, had to conduct economic tests in the form of profitability assessments.
