Prime Minister Andrej Babis does not have to apologise to Transparency International (TI) for having called it corrupt, the Central Bohemia regional court ruled today. The court decided that Babis's statements had not grossly interfered in the rights of the organisation. The ruling can be still appealed. Babis has repeatedly said the Czech TI was corrupt. His lawyer Jiri Urbanek said he had meant the way of its financing and did not say that the TI had breached the law.
