The Czech Republic would be open to Britain's request to postpone its departure from the European Union, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis said after Friday's meeting with Romanian PM Viorica Dancila, who added that while the Romanian EU presidency was ready for any scenario it would prefer an orderly Brexit. Babis said that despite the fact it did not seem possible now, it would be best if the UK called a second referendum and decided to stay in the EU. He added that the second best option would be if the Brexit deal negotiated with the EU was passed, even though the British MPs have already voted against it twice.
