The popularity of Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis' ANO fell by 3 percentage points to the current 30 percent in the past month, but still it is far ahead of the rest of the parties, according to a CVVM poll released today. The second place is occupied by the opposition Civic Democratic Party with 14 percent and the third by the opposition Pirates with 13.5 percent. The Communists, which keep the government afloat, and the Social Democrats, the minor coalition government member, would be now elected by 9 percent each. The 5 percent threshold to re-enter the Chamber of Deputies would also be crossed by the opposition Christian Democrats and the anti-EU Freedom and Direct Democracy.
