Austrian-Hungarian trade relations excellent, says Austrian chamber

Despite difficult economic circumstances, bilateral trade links between Hungary and Austria flourished last year, the president of the Austrian Economic Chamber said on Wednesday. "Hungary is once against one of our most important trade partners in the world," said Christoph Leitl in a letter sent to the Hungarian ambassador in Vienna. Figures quoted by the Austrian Economic Chamber showed that Hungarian exports to Austria totalled 3.75 billion euros last year, 2.6 percent up from the year before.
