An iron spearhead, measuring several dozen centimeters in length and most likely of Viking origin was found by Polish archeologists during underwater research in Lubanowo lake, northwestern Poland. Underwater archaeologists from the Institute of Archeology of the University of Warsaw have been conducting research in the lake since 2015. "We have discovered many unique objects, including this very unusual, large, two-part spear tip," Bartosz Kontny, the head of the research team, told PAP.
