Activists block ministry asking for emission cutbacks

Four members of the Extinction Rebellion movement blocked the Czech Regional Development Ministry's entrance for about two hours shortly before noon today, requesting that the state immediately starts lowering fossil fuel emissions in order to reach carbon neutrality by 2025. The ministry is a member of the government-run coal commission that will hold talks about slowing down coal mining and setting up new energy production structures.
