Poland still encounters difficulties in accessing the Chinese market, Polish PM Beata Szydlo said in Budapest on Monday during a meeting between leaders of 16 Central and Eastern European countries and China. PM Szydlo appealed for removing barriers of access to markets in order to obtain mutual benefit from the 16 plus 1 format. eferring to the format itself, Szydlo said that contacts between Central and Eastern European countries and China had never been so intensive or multi-faceted. The Polish PM pointed out that the countries' government leaders had met regularly since 2012. Despite high ambitions, the opportunities for building a strategic partnership between China and Central and Eastern Europe have not been fully utilised as far as mutual benefits are concerned, according to the Polish prime minister.
