President, new defence minister speak to Czech soldiers on missions

President Milos Zeman thanked Czech soldiers on foreign missions for their work and fight against various forms of Islamic terrorism through a video call, which Karla Slechtova, the new defence minister, also joined, Zeman's spokesman Jiri Ovcacek told CTK on Thursday. The president spoke with the Czech Military's mission commanders in Afghanistan, Mali, on Sinai, in the Golan Heights and in Iraq, passing them best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
